If you enjoy having a a beverage every so often, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Take whatever cash you anticipate to use on alcohol, tipping and whatever pocket change you expect to burn and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You might have a success following a drunken night out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hit a long roll at a smokin craps table. Keep that adventure because it’s as brief as it gets if you continually drink and gamble. These activities simply don’t go well together.

Leaving your moola out of the casino is a tiny bit drastic, but defensive actions for drastic behavior is required. If you bet to profit, then do not drink and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your money nary a concern, then drink all the gratuitous alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checkbooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your bombed head loses all the cash!

Let me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then jump on the net to bet in your preferred internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my condominium, but because I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can not consume alcohol and wager.

How come? Even though I don’t consume alcohol a lot, once I drink, it’s clearly sufficient to cloud my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both make for a ferocious, and costly, cocktail.
