If you enjoy having a a cocktail from time to time, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, plastic credit and chequebooks out of the casino. Pack whatever cash you intend to spend on refreshments, tips and only the pocket change you anticipate to burn and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You could have a win following a intoxicated night out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to hit a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that account considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink and gamble. The pair simply do not mix.
Keeping your cash out of the casino might be a tiny bit excessive, but defensive measures for excessive behavior is required. If you play to profit, then don’t drink and gamble. If you are able to afford to burn your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the complimentary booze your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your dead drunk head throws away all the cash!
Permit me to carry this a single step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then head on to the internet to bet in your preferred internet casino either. I love to drink from the coziness of my home, but because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and bet.
How come? Although I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it’s certainly enough to blur my judgment. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. When mixed, both create a decimating, and crazy, cocktail.
