If you like to have a drink ever so often, leave your money out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your money belt, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checks out of the casino. Only take only the money you expect to use on drinks, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You may well experience a win after a inebriated night out with your friends and be blessed enough to catch a long toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and gamble. The two just do not mix.
Leaving your moolah at home is a bit drastic, but defensive measures for dramatic actions is necessary. If you gamble to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and gamble. If you can afford to burn your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the complimentary alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but do not take charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your drunk as a skunk head throws away everything!
Allow me to carry this one step further. Don’t drink and then hop on the net to gamble in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my home, however seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
Why? Despite the fact that I do not drink a lot, when I drink alcohol, it is certainly adequate to cloud my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager when you do. Both make for a decimating, and crazy, drink.
