If you enjoy having a a cocktail every so often, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your purse, your billfold, and keep all cash, credit cards and checkbooks at home. Grab whatever money you intend to use on drinks, tips and few dollars you intend to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You might experience a win following a intoxicated evening out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hook a long toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and bet. These activities simply do not mix.
Leaving your moolah at home is a little bit excessive, but defensive measures for dramatic behavior is required. If you wager to succeed, then don’t drink and gamble. If you can afford to throw away your assets without a concern, then drink all the gratuitous beer your stomach are able to handle, but do not carry plastic credit and chequebooks to throw into the mix of following losses after your befuddled self squanders every little thing!
Let me to carry this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the net to play in your favorite casino either. I love to drink from the coziness of my home, but seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
Why? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is clearly adequate to blur my better judgment. I bet, so I do not drink alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet when you do. The two mix up for a decimating, and crazy, drink.
